And Time Goes On!!

Wow, time is really flying here. It is just a few weeks until I leave for Germany and then on to Kosovo. I'm ready to get overseas. North Fort Hood is a real dump. Also, I have a bunch of people in the barracks with me here and it gets really loud at night when I'm trying to sleep.

We had our 55 soldier from Puerto Rico arrived a couple of days ago and it's been hectic trying to get them caught up with us. They are going to be a part of us once we get overseas. It looks as if they will be our headquarters element.

A lot has happened since my last post. Most importantly I had my 8th anniversary. It sucks that I missed it and I spent about 3 or 4 days just being a little down about it. I'm better now. I get to go home for a few days next weekend and I am really looking forward to it.

We will be shipping our equipment soon and it is a little scary since I am responsible for making sure it is all there and shipped. My life as been, as you can imagine, a little busy lately.

That's all for now. Angelea has my address if anyone would like to have it.

FUN!!!

Boy, I am having fun now! I now have a new job, Unit Movement Officer. So now I am a platoon leader, S6 (commo officer) and UMO (making sure all soldiers and equipment get overseas).

I don't mind though. The more work I have to do the faster the time will fly.

Things are going well here, moral is high and we are having as much fun as you can being so far from home.

The internet here is not good, so I don't often get times to post. When we are overseas, I'll be able to keep this paged updated more often.
